Acceptance of terms
By creating an account on Inzu Connect or by using any part of our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the platform on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform.
Description of service
Inzu Connect is a multi-tenant property management SaaS platform that enables landlords, property managers, and real estate companies ("Companies") to manage properties, units, lodges, rooms, tenants, invoices, payments, and maintenance workflows.
The platform includes but is not limited to:
- Property, unit, lodge, and room management
- Tenant onboarding and profile management
- Invoice creation, distribution, and payment collection via DPO Pay
- Maintenance request submission, assignment, and resolution workflows
- Analytics dashboards and report generation
- Public property listings and online application processing
- Role-based access control for company staff
- Automated background jobs including monthly invoice generation and lease expiry reminders
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
Accounts & access
Account creation
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Roles and permissions
The platform uses a role-based access control system with five roles: Platform Owner, Super Admin, Admin, Tenant, and Assistant. Each role has specific permissions defined within the system. Super Admins are responsible for managing the accounts and permissions of all users within their company.
Account security
You must notify us immediately at security@inzuconnect.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account if you failed to take reasonable steps to secure it.
One account per person
Each individual may hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or to abuse our trial system is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information about properties, tenants, or transactions
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other companies' data, accounts, or systems
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
- Use the platform to send spam, unsolicited communications, or to conduct phishing
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform without our prior written consent
- Resell or sublicense access to the platform to third parties without our written consent
- Circumvent plan limits by creating multiple company accounts for the same portfolio
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
Payment & billing
Subscription fees
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle in Rwandan Francs (RWF). Prices are displayed on our pricing page and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
Platform transaction fees
Inzu Connect charges a platform fee on rent payments processed through the platform. This fee is configured by the Platform Owner and may be charged to tenants (added to their invoice) or to the company (deducted from the net payout). The current fee configuration is displayed in your company settings.
Overages
If your usage exceeds your plan's included limits (units, rooms, admin accounts), overage charges apply at the rates listed on the pricing page. Service is never suspended for overages - charges are applied to your next invoice. You will receive an email alert at 80% of your plan limits.
Free trial
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the platform.
Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as described in our Refund Policy .
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will notify you and provide a 7-day grace period to update payment information. After the grace period, access to paid features may be restricted until the outstanding balance is settled.
Your data
You retain ownership of all data you input into the platform - property records, tenant information, invoices, and all other content. By using the platform, you grant Inzu Connect a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
We will never sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy .
You are responsible for ensuring that the data you enter about tenants and third parties complies with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining any necessary consents before uploading personal data of individuals.
Intellectual property
The Inzu Connect platform, including its design, code, features, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Inzu Connect and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Inzu Connect name, logo, or brand in any way without our prior written consent.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our express written permission.
Uptime & availability
We target 99.9% uptime on Enterprise plans with a formal SLA. For Starter, Grow, and Scale plans, we endeavour to provide high availability but do not offer a formal SLA guarantee.
Scheduled maintenance will be communicated with at least 48 hours' notice where possible. Emergency maintenance may be performed without notice to protect platform security or integrity.
We are not responsible for outages caused by third-party services including DPO Pay, Brevo, Redis, or internet infrastructure.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inzu Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not responsible for any loss arising from: incorrect data entered by you or your staff; failed payments by tenants; decisions made based on analytics displayed on the platform; or actions taken by third parties including DPO Pay.
Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay outstanding balances after the grace period.
Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law or you request immediate deletion.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
